Tant Sarees
Tant Sarees are traditionally made by the weavers from all over West Bengal and Bangladesh but typically few places like Murshidabad, Nadia, Hooghly of West Bengal and Dhaka, Tang ail Bangladesh are famous for Tant Sarees weaving. Tant Sarees are woven from cotton threads and distinguished by its lightness and transparency. It is considered to be the most comfortable Sarees for the Indian hot and humid climate.
Kantha
Kantha is a type of embroidery popular in eastern South Asia, especially Bangladesh and the Indian states of West Bengal and Odisha.
Kantha is still the most popular form of embroidery practiced by rural women. The traditional form of Kantha embroidery was done with soft dhotis and saris, with a simple running stitch along the edges. Depending on the use of the finished product they were known as Lepkantha or Sujni Kantha.
Jamdani
Jamdani Is one of the finest muslin textiles of Bengal, produced in Dhaka District, Bangladesh for centuries.
Baluchari Sari
Baluchari Sari was originated in Bengal and is known for depictions of mythological scenes on the pallu of the sari. It is mainly produced in Murshidabad and producing one sari takes approximately one week or more.
