Tempered Potato, Onion and Tomato raitha-Recipe shared by Anju Poddar

Ingredients

  • 4 Cups of Curd
  • 1 Medium Boiled Potato
  • 1 Medium Tomato
  • 1 Medium Onion
  • 1/2 Inch of Ginger
  • 1 Green Chili
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • For Baghaar:

    Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Moti Rai
  • 1 Twig of Curry Leaves
  • Method

  • Strain the curd.

  • Finely chop potatoes, tomatoes and onions.

  • Cut ginger and chillies.

  • Mix all this in the curd.

  • On top of that sprinkle the red chilli powder.

  • On the red chilli powder pour the baghaar as indicated below.

  • Heat the oil, add rai and curry leaves and pour it on the raita.

  • Mix and keep it in the fridge to cool.
