Tabbouleh from the kitchen of Anju Poddar

To serve 6 –
Ingredients –
200gm cucumber
50gm parsley leaves
100gm tomato (Bangalore tomato)
50gm wheat dalia
2 sprigs of green onion

Ingredients for salad dip –
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp Olive oil
2 tsp Lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste

How to make –
1. Wash all the vegetables in cold water. Peel and cut the tomato, cucumber, parsley leaves and green onions finely.
2. Mix everything together. Wash the wheat dalia 2-3 times, squeeze it dry and mix in this.
3. To prepare the salad dip – blend the 2 cloves of garlic along with the olive oil and lemon juice. Add salt and pepper to taste

For decoration-
Roast the pita bread in the oven and crumble them. Place on top for garnish
