Rogini Roti from the kitchen of Dimpoo

To serve 6 Persons

Ingredients

  • 250 gms Suji/Upma Rava
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 3 tsp Ghee
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • Little additional ghee for cooking the roties
  • Method

  • In Suji add salt and ghee..Mix well…Slowly add warm milk…Kneed the dough hard and well….Keep it aside covered for an hour for it to mature.

  • Make six equally rounds…Roll one individually …Not too thin…With a knife make criss cross design on the roti…This is made so that the Suji does not remain half cooked at places.

  • Heat the tava…Put ghee and cook the roti well till brown.

  • Serve hot.
