Peanut Chutney

Peanut Chutney – From the kitchen of Prema Badiga

Good for breakfast (People having cholesterol problem should have this chutney instead of coconut chutney with idli’s)

Peanut Chutney
Ingredients

  • 1 kg roasted peanuts
  • 4 green chillies
  • 8 cloves of garlic
  • 2 twigs of curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp black gram dal / urad dal
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds / jeera
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Method

  • Dry roast the peanuts and remove the skin.

  • Heat the oil, roast the urad dal then add green chillies, garlic and curry leaves.

  • Grind the peanuts and the seasoning together, before serving add salt to taste.
