Khubani Ka Meetha – From the kitchen of Mumtaz Pasha

Serves 6-8 people

Khubani Ka Meetha
Ingredients

  • 250 grams dried apricots or khubani
  • 200 grams of sugar
  • Fresh cream
  • Saffron
  • Method

  • In a bowl, overnight soak khubani with 1 inch water coming on top of it.

  • Next day, the water will be observed, cut the khubani into 2 pieces each and remove the seeds.

  • Add a little water, cook for a little and add 200 grams of sugar, till it dissolves.

  • Break the khubani shells and remove the tiny seeds and sprinkle in the sweet.

  • Add a little saffron and serve it chilled.

  • –Serve it along with fresh cream.
