Jamun Sorbet from the kitchen of Anju Poddar
to serve 4.
Ingredients:
250gms of Jamun
4 tbsp of Sugar
1/2 tbsp of Black Salt
1/4 tbsp of Chilli flakes
Method:
Soak the Jamuns… squeeze the juice with hand… strain through a plastic mesh.
Add 4tbsp of sugar to a 1/2 cup of water, cook for 2 or 3 minutes and make sugar solution
In the jamun juice mix sugar solution, blend it well, add black rock salt and blend it in a mixi well
Cool in the fridge for an hour…
While serving add red chilli flakes
Put it in the ice cream machine till ready.
Store in the freezer
