How to make Idli from the kitchen of Indru

To serve six

Ingredients:
1 cup Urad daal
1 tsp Methi seeds
2and a half cup of Idli Rava
Salt to taste

How to make:
Soak urad daal with methi seeds in the morning and in the evening grind it very fine till fluffy.

Next morning 1/2 an hour before making the idli soak the Idli rava in water.

Mix paste of Urad daal and soaked Idli rava together …add 1 tsp salt and beat it well.

Put the mixture in the idli mold and steam.

Serve hot idli with ghee or til oil along with Podi, Sambhar and Coconut Chutney.
