Hara Paanchmela ki Subzi from the kitchen of Ritika Poddar

To serve 6 Persons

Ingredients

  • 2 Turai
  • 250 gms Parval
  • 200 gms Barbatti
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 1 Simla Mirch
  • 1 Mooli
  • ½ bundle Spinach
  • 1 tsp Ghee
  • For Baghaar:

  • 2 Green Chillies
  • 100 gms Ginger
  • 2 Tej Patta/ Bay leaves
  • 1 tsp Panch Phoran
  • 1 pinch Hing
  • 1 pinch of Soda
  • ¼ spoon Sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves
  • Method

  • Cut Spinach in small size, boil and keep it aside

  • In a iron wok put ghee. Add Panch Phoran , Hing, Tej Pata, Ginger, Green Chilies and then you put the vegetables (apart from spinach).Add salt , 1/4 teaspoon sugar and a pinch of soda.

  • When the vegetables are half cooked add the cut boiled spinach. Cook till done.

  • While serving sprinkle coriander leaves.
