Green Chillies Pickle

Green Chillies Pickle – from the Kitchen of Veena Bhabhi

Ingredients

  • 1 kg Green Chillies
  • 5 lemons
  • 100 gms Pounded Saunf
  • 200 gms Powdered yellow Sarson
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 50 gms Salt
  • 150 gms Mustard Oil
  • Method

  • Wash wipe and slit the chilies do not remove the stem…if the chili is very big cut them in to two pieces do not remove the seeds

  • Cut lemons in 8 pieces each.

  • Mix the spices in the oil( consisrency should be that spices mutthi main bandh jaayain )…oil should not be heated.

  • Put this spice paste in slit chilies using your fingers .

  • Keep the pickle in a coverd vessel out side in the sun for it to mature.

  • Ready to eat in 2 days time.
