  • 250 grams sugar ka bura / powdered sugar
  • Method

  • Put the gaund in sunlight for 10 minutes and clean it well.

  • Make bura of 250 grams of sugar by cooking it with little water. When bubbles come on the sugar, cool it, grind it, sift it and make bura powder. Shortcut: Just grind sugar and make powder.

  • Break the almonds in 2 pieces each, clean well.

  • Heat the ghee, lightly deep fry the almonds and keep them aside.

  • In the same ghee, put the wheat flour on slow flame and roast it till nice cooked aroma comes.

  • Ask someone to slowly put fistful of gaund in it. Important: Keep stirring it constantly.

  • The gaund will start crackling and make sounds like popcorn. Once the sound stops, remove from the fire, and mix the fried almonds.

  • After it cools down, mix the bura or sugar powder.
