Ingredients
Method
Put the gaund in sunlight for 10 minutes and clean it well.
Make bura of 250 grams of sugar by cooking it with little water. When bubbles come on the sugar, cool it, grind it, sift it and make bura powder. Shortcut: Just grind sugar and make powder.
Break the almonds in 2 pieces each, clean well.
Heat the ghee, lightly deep fry the almonds and keep them aside.
In the same ghee, put the wheat flour on slow flame and roast it till nice cooked aroma comes.
Ask someone to slowly put fistful of gaund in it. Important: Keep stirring it constantly.
The gaund will start crackling and make sounds like popcorn. Once the sound stops, remove from the fire, and mix the fried almonds.
After it cools down, mix the bura or sugar powder.
Store it in air tight steel tiffin.
