Dotha– From the kitchen of Manju Saraf

Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 500 gms Atta / wheat flour
  • 200 gms Suji /Samolina
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Ajwain
  • 125 gms ghee for moin making the dough
  • Oil for frying
  • Method

  • Sift the Atta and Suji add ajwain +salt mix the ghee and make a stiff dough by sprinkling a little water.

  • Divide in small equal parts…make them in to rounds and pat them.

  • Roll into medium thickness 3″dia.

  • Heat the oil to medium temprature And deep fry the Dotha on medium flame till golden brown for about 4 to 5 minutes.

  • Note : snack to have with tea along with pickles for Breakfast or Evening Tea.
