Dosakaaya Chutney

Receipe of Dosakaaya Chutney from Aruna’s Kitchen

To serve 6 Persons

Ingredients

  • 1 Dosakaaya/Yellow Sambhar Kheera/Kaachar peel and chop into pieces
  • 4 to 6 Green chilies chopped
  • 4 Garlic Pods
  • Kothmir leaves
  • Karepak leaves
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 tsp Jeera
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard oil
  • 1 tsp Urad Daal
  • 2 to 3 Red Chillies
  • Little Kothmir & Karvepak
  • 1 tsp Tamrind( add this last to fry)
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp Groundnuts Roasted
  • 1 tbsp Till Roasted
  • Method

  • Remove skin of the vegetables cut in small sizes

  • Fry in little oil Green Chillies, Garlic,Jeera,Dosakayi

  • Add to these Roasted Ground nuts & Til

  • lastly add the Tamarind
  • Grind every thing together with required salt rough consistency .
  • Season in oil with Mustard seeds, Jeera & Urad and Bengal Daal, onions, red Chillies and Karepak leaves.
