Curd Rice

Curd rice – from the kitchen of Parvathi Badiga

Cook rice to a very soft consistency . Mash with spoon.
Beat/ churn curd till smooth .

Add ingredients for tempering

  • Mustard seeds – 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin seeds – 1/4 tsp
  • Green chilli / minced very small (1/2 tsp adjust acc to taste )
  • Ginger minced very small 1 tsp ( adjust acc to taste )
  • Hing -1/4 tsp
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Note:Use ghee for tempering add above ingredients and mix in the curd and then put in the rice.
