Coorg Imli Dosa

Dosa batter should be as of Coorg Dosa (mentioned above)
Cooking medium: any refined oil

Ingredients for the tamarind paste:
– 1 cup imli pulp
– 1 cup black jaggery
For tampering:
– 1 teaspoon of oil
– 1/2 teaspoon of Jeera
– 1 teaspoon of coriander seeds
– 2 whole red chilies
– 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
– 1/2 teaspoon of chilli powder
– Salt to taste

Method:
– Soak imli in water for 10 minutes, strain and keep it aside
– Boil 1 cup of black jaggery, strain and keep it aside
-Heat the oil tampering and add Jeera, coriander seeds, red chillies, turmeric powder and chilli powder
– To this add the prepared tamerind juice and jaggery water and boil well
– Add salt to taste, the mixture should now be slightly more sour than sweet
– Pour the Dosa batter on the heated tawa and inside of the Dosa, pour and spread out the imli mixture
– Cook it using refined oil

Note: Cook only one side of the Dosa
