Coorg Curd Rice
To serve 4

Ingredients:
– 1 cup raw rice
– 1 cup curd
– 2 tablespoons fresh cream/malai
For tampering:
– 1 teaspoon oil
– 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
– 2 red chillis
– 1 teaspoon chana dal
– 1 teaspoon urad dal
– 1 stick of curry leaves
– Salt to taste

Method:
– Boil the rice really well and mash it a little bit
– To this add curd and malai
– Heat the oil and to this add tampering ingredients
– Pour this mixture on top of the rice preparation
– Add salt to taste
– Serve it with avakai pickle or garlic pickle
