Chilka Aloo Tamatar ki Sabji Bedmi ke saath from the kitchen of Manju Saraf

Chilka Aloo Tamatar ki Sabji
Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg Potatoes
  • 2 big tomatoes or 4 small tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Panchphoren jeera,Rai,Saunf, Methi,Kalonji
  • 2 tejpatta /bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp Haldi
  • 2 tsp Dhaniya Powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 50 Gms Oil
  • Method

  • Put the tomatoes in hot water remove the skin blend.

  • Wash and cut the potatoes With the skin.

  • Heat the oil put the bay leaves..after a minute put the panchphoren when it crackles add the cut potatoes,haldi,dhaniya powder, chilli powder& salt.

  • Cook on low flame.

  • When the Potatoes are cooked add the tomato pulp cover with a lid and put some water on top of the lid.

  • Cook for 5 minutes.

  • Note : This is to be eaten with Bedami.
