Buttermilk Kanji

To serve 6

Ingredients & Method:

2 cup curds
4 glasses of water….Mix both of them well फेंट कर make thin butter milk.

Tampering:
4/5 green chillies
1 small spoon Hing powder
8/10 curry leaves
Make a baghar using one teaspoon of hot oil

In the thin butter milk add 1/2 tsp Kasundi , 1 small tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chillies powder and one tsp salt.

Add the baghar to the prepared butter milk …options: one can also add finely chopped coriander leaves .

Chill it

Before serving add small cubes( size & shape like that of bread croutons) of white Dhokla to the prepared chilled butter milk

White dhokla is made of rice…best is to make from leftover idli batter….one can mix very finely cut carrots, beans and green peas in the dhola batter for better taste & appearance .
