Beerakai /Turai Pachadi – Recipe shared by Prema Badiga

Lightly scrape the Turai and cut in big pieces.
Heat the oil roast the Urad daal add Jeera ,Garlic,Til, broken red and green chillies
Heat the oil and cook turai for 2 minutes add imli & Salt.
First grind the chilli n masala fine then add Turai and coresly grind.
Your Pachadi is ready.
Note: Tastes good served with white rice dosa.
Sambhar kheera /kachar /Dosakai Pachadi is made the same way…instead of Turai put one big yellow skin kachar and 4 big tomatoes omit Til rest is the same
