Avocado Toast

Avocado Toast… From the Kitchen of Pallavi More

To serve 4
 
Ingredients:
For Pesto Sauce:
1 green chili
1 tsp white sesame seeds
1/2 teaspoon fine cut ginger
250 gms of basil leaves
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 lemon juice to retain colour
 
For Toast:
2 Bread slice
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
8/10 pods of Garlic
One pinch Salt & one pinchPepper
1 avocados
Few drops Lemon Juice
 
Method:
Grind the ingredients of pesto sauce well.
Then in a pan, take 2 tbsp olive oil on medium flame heat the oil …add the crushed garlic.
Add the green pesto paste to it
Peel and cut the avocados very thin with a little bit of lemon juice so it doesn’t change its color.
Toast the bread…on top of the toast smear the pesto sauce, put the avocado pieces. Put some salt and pepper and lemon juice.

The recipes makes more pesto sauce than required…the remaining pesto sauce one can store in an airtight glass bottle in the fridge to be used later.
Serve the toast.
