Kundru Pachchadi from the kitchen of Prema Badiga

Ingredients

250gms green kundru – thinly cut
2 big tomatoes thinly cut
1 tabsp imli / tamarind pulp
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp Haldi

For the tadka / tempering –
2 tsp Oil
1 tsp Mustard seeds
1/2 tsp Jeera
4 to 5 Red chillies
2 twigs Curry leaves

How to Cook

Heat the oil and cook the kundru pieces.

Add the tomatoes and cook.

Add the haldi, salt and imli / tamarind.

Remove and cool.

Run in the grinder to make a very coarse paste.

Heat oil for the tadka / tempering and add the ingredients.

Add the chutney mix.
Cook for another 2 minutes.

Ready to serve.
