Recipe of Podi from the kitchen of Indru

Ingredients:

4 cups long dried shrivilled Bedgi red chillies
1 cup Urad daal
3/4 cups long Chana daal
I marble size Tamrind ball
I Hing cake LG
1 tbsp TIL oil
Salt to taste

How to make:
In a pan heat the oil and lightly roast the red chilies and remove.

Separately dry roast each dal…till they become golden and you get the smell.

Mix the roasted chillies and both the daal…to this you add Hing, tamarind broken in to pieces and salt to taste.

Grind everything together coarsely..store in airtight glass jars.

Good to eat with Idli & white rice.
